Skiffs
The fleet that takes you to the river
Each skiff is built for a way of living the Pantanal: focused fishing, a calm cruise, a couple, the whole family. Nimble, aluminium and ready for the channels.
The fleet
A skiff for every kind of outing
Transpantanal keeps several skiffs, and the difference between them comes down to what you want from the day.
All are aluminium and shallow-draft, which keeps them nimble and able to slip into the low arms of the river, close to the banks where the life is.
What changes from one to the next is the seating layout and the space on board. That is what makes a skiff better for fishing, for cruising or for taking the whole family in comfort.

The skiff types
Choose by the way you cruise
Rather than names and models, what matters here is what each layout offers. See the differences and find the one that suits your group.

Single-row seating
Individual swivel chairs in a central row, each angler with their own spot and room to work the rod in any direction. A nimble hull, built for fishing.
Best for anglers

Paired seating
Seats side by side, cosier for those coming as a couple or a family, without giving up the lightness to cruise the river up close.
Best for couples and families

Roomy and comfortable
Larger skiffs, with a command console and padded seats and more space on board. Great for ecotourism and for groups who want to travel with room to spare.
Best for excursions and groups

In action
The skiffs at what they do best
Nothing explains it better than seeing the fishing happen, straight from the boat rail.
