Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 July 2026

This policy explains which personal data Transpantanal Tour Ltda handles when you use this site or talk to our team, and what you can do about it. It follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018).

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Transpantanal Tour Ltda, company ID (CNPJ) 02.868.266/0001-86, based in Poconé, Mato Grosso. The contacts for privacy matters are the same as for our regular service, listed at the end of this page.

How the contact form works

This point matters and we want to be plain about it: the site's form sends nothing to a server of ours. On submit, it simply composes a message from what you typed and opens WhatsApp (or your email program, if you prefer that alternative) so that you send it yourself.

In practice, the data only leaves your device when you complete the send on WhatsApp or by email. From that point on, the policies of the service you chose also apply.

What data we handle

We handle only the data you send us of your own accord, plus the technical records any website visit generates.

  • Contact and trip details you send us by WhatsApp or email: name, phone, email, intended dates, number of people and whatever else you write in the message
  • Access logs kept by the site's hosting service, such as IP address, date and time of access, as provided for in Brazil's Internet Civil Framework
  • A language preference stored in your own browser, which does not identify you (see the Cookie Policy)

What we do not do

  • We use no analytics, metrics or heatmap tools
  • We set no cookies of our own and no tracking pixels
  • We build no behavioural profiles and run no targeted advertising
  • We neither sell nor rent your data to anyone

What we use your data for

  • Answering your enquiry and sending quotes
  • Arranging, confirming and delivering your trip and your stay
  • Meeting legal, accounting and tax obligations
  • Resolving questions, requests or disputes related to the service

On what legal basis

Each use rests on a legal basis set out in the LGPD: performance of a contract or preliminary steps, when you ask for a quote or book a trip; compliance with a legal obligation, for tax documents and records required by law; and legitimate interest, to answer your enquiry and keep the site secure, always within your reasonable expectations.

Who the data is shared with

We do not share your data for commercial purposes. Sharing happens only where it is needed to deliver the service or to comply with the law.

  • WhatsApp, operated by Meta, when you choose to talk to us through that channel
  • Our email provider and the site's hosting service
  • Partners essential to running the trip, with only what is necessary and only once you book
  • Public authorities, where there is a legal obligation or a court order

Third-party services inside the site

Some pages load third-party content. When you open them, your browser communicates directly with those services, which may record your IP address and apply their own policies.

  • YouTube, in the videos embedded on the Fishing and Our Story pages
  • Open-Meteo, in the Porto Jofre weather forecast shown on the Fishing page
  • Google Maps and WhatsApp, when you click the respective links

How long we keep it

We keep messages and service records for as long as needed to assist you and, after that, for the periods required by tax and civil law. Once those periods end, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

The LGPD grants you a set of rights that you may exercise at any time, free of charge, through the contacts on this page.

  • Confirm whether we handle your data and access that data
  • Correct incomplete, inaccurate or out-of-date data
  • Request the anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data
  • Request portability of the data to another provider
  • Withdraw consent and learn who we share your data with
  • Lodge a complaint with the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD)

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the data in our care, including restricted access to service information. No internet service is entirely immune to incidents, but should one occur that poses a relevant risk to you, we will notify you and the competent authority, as the law requires.

Children and teenagers

This site is not aimed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect children's data. Trips involving minors are always arranged with their legal guardians.

Changes to this policy

We may update this document to reflect changes to the site or to the law. The date at the top of the page marks the version in force. Material changes will be flagged through our service channels.
